Wolsingham Skate Park is a "Permitted Development"

The Parish Council learned on Monday 19th November that the skatepark development is regarded by DCC as "permitted development in accordance with Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General permitted development) Order 2015."

We said that we would submit the plan to the Planning Authority for scrutiny. That body has now said that they do not need to consider the application in any more detail, as it is already a 'lawful development”.

This means that we can proceed with finalising our support grants, and with the development in due course. We are pleased that this project has had such strong support form residents and has been positively evaluated by DCC.

The council will decide the best way to proceed with the project at its December meeting.
